Caring for your neighbours
Isolation can be hard and lonely. If you know someone in isolation or self isolation, give them a
daily check in call. Talk to them for as long as they need to reassure them that they are not alone.
Consider making time for virtual coffee, board games, or cards games with your loved ones.
Continue to practise social distancing, but remind your loved ones that you are all in this together.
Compensate by caring.

More smiling, less worrying.
More compassion, less judgment. More
blessed, less stressed. More love, less hate.

Please be understanding of your teens right now. This is harder on them than you think. They are not hanging out with their friends, not participating in community activities/sports, not celebrating birthdays, not attending school which provides structure and essential social contact, and not partaking in all the related school activities such as sports teams, clubs, study groups, etc. And this is the develop-mental period where all that matters...A LOT!

We want to send out a special thank you to MP Heather Mcphearson as well as MLA Marlin Schmidt. The great dona-tion of emergency food hampers. After hearing of some of the crisis situa-
tions in the Twin Parks Community, Heather and her team asked for a list of families and went shopping immediately to help us ease the burden. Marlin’s office gave multiple gift cards to grocery stores to help us continue with food hampers for those in need. We are so very grateful. Thank you & Stay Well Twin Parks Community League & The Residents of the Community

A community is like a ship; everyone ought to be prepared to take the helm.
Minutemen Alliance: We thank you for the free store held in our community. Twin Parks enjoys working with you and we looking forward to working together in the future!

BE A GOOD NEIGHBOUR DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC Don’t know your neighbour but suspect they need help? Not sure how to help when social distancing is recommended? It can
be as easy as dropping off a note similar to this one. The Twin Parks Community Facebook group is also a great resource to ask for help, or to offer assistance to your neighbours &
community
