APRIL 2011 M I K E K I N G 5 @ B E L L S O U T H . N E T
For the past three years, I have been allowed to travel to an area of the world that is considered to be
restricted. God has no restrictions and His church continues to grow rapidly in this area. Just a few more teams and this building will be ready for hundreds
of believers in this area of the world. The people in this area are not waiting on this building with more than 200
meeting in the pastor’s back yard.
I would like to thanks Life Assembly of God church in Mt. Juliet for sponsoring the material for this project. I don’t
think this will be their last time to this area. I was also joined by members from New York, Ohio, and Tennessee on
this effort.

PATHFINDERS
So. Cal. builds church in GuatemalaA band of brothers as they liked to be called, met me in Guatemala City. We where joined by Hart, Brandt, and John
from Texas. The team overcame many hardships but left a beautiful Church on the side of a mountain for the Kekchi people. I just received an update from
Missionary James Wiseman that all is complete except the doors and windows.
The local village joined with the team
making it a huge success. After the team left the members completed the roof and floor.
PANAMA TEAM HAD TO CHANGE PLANS DUE TO LOCAL PROTEST OF MINING ON THE GUAYMI LANDS
Soloy SchoolPathfinders set out to build room number five in the village of Soloy for the Guaymi children. The team did not know that this would be the time the Guaymi picked to
protest the mining on their land. The team was held up at a very nice resort for three days (God is good) and then turn
back to Panama City to use their talents building a metal fabricating shop. Room five was completed with team funds by
local workers the following week.
Pathfinder 101 in ColombiaPathfinder 101 is a training and site visit for leaders wanting to learn more about leading pathfinder teams. i was
accompanied by Tim Krabiel, Kansas City and Bruce Daily, Wisconsin on this trip. I think each of them will conduct a team
very soon.
XALIHA CHURCH
THE PEOPLE WANTED THEIR CHURCH TO BE A HIGHLIGHT OF THE VILLAGE. SO THEY WENT UP ABOUT THIRTY ON THE SIDE OF A MOUNTAIN AND PREPARED THIS SITE FOR THEIR CHURCH. THE WHOLE VILLAGE CAME OUT TO HELP ESPECIALLY THE CHILDREN.

COLOMBIA
WHILE IN COLOMBIA WE VISITED SEVERAL VILLAGES AROUND THE CITY OF TUNJA. IN EACH VILLAGE WE DISCUSSED HOW TEAMS COULD HELP THE CHURCH GROW.
