A parishioner of Emmaus Catholic Parish can request a Prayer Blanket, free of charge, for adults or children with a physical or emotional illness. Prayer Blanket Kits are available for those that wish to help this ministry. Kits include instructions and materials. Donations of fabric, supplies, money, and especially Wal-Mart SEED gift cards are very appreciated! Please call the Parish Office for more information.

• • •V Encuentro: We are all called to become authentic and joyful missionary disciples that give witness to God’s love with a prophetic voice in a culturally diverse church. We invite parishioners to be a part of the parish research being conducted nation-wide on the church’s charism with an emphasis on second and third generation Hispanics/Latinos. You voice is important and this is a great way to contribute to your faith even if you are not regularly active in the parish outside of Mass. Please attend five, Tuesday evening sessions, 90minutes each, on May 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 in the Great Hall at 6:30 PM. Sessions will be bi-lingual. 6th Annual Good Friday Pilgrimage is on April 14, 2017 beginning at 12:30 PM at St. Mary’s Cathedral with a blessing by Bishop Joe Vasquez. This nine mile pilgrimage is an opportunity to take our faith out of our churches and be a witness to all. The group will be stopping for the Stations of the Cross and rest stops along the way. Our goal is to have many parishes and Catholic groups from throughout our Diocese represented on the pilgrimage. More information available at www.schoenstatt.us.
