2015 CATHOLIC APPEAL
We would like to thank all of you who have given so generously to support our parish. If you have yet to
make a pledge, and wish to make a pledge to the Catho-
lic Appeal, please take a pledge form from the back of the church. You can also make a gift or pledge online at www.bostoncatholicappeal.org .
Thank you for your generous support and helping us to reach our parish goal !
St. Mary’s Women’s Club Scholarship Saint Mary's Women’s Club will be awarding a scholarship to a Saint Mary parishioner graduating from high school this spring, who will be continuing their education in an accredited program.
Applications can be picked up on the rectory porch or at the entrances to the church. Completed applications should be left at the rectory or in the bin on the rectory porch by May 1st.
Why do we genuflect? Catholics genuflect in Church in order to show our reverence to the True Presence of Christ in the Eucha-rist. As we walk into the house of God, a church, we show our adora-tion for Him by kneeing before Him.

“ALL TOGETHER SUNDAY”
TODAY, Sunday, April 19th, is “All Together Sunday”. All are invited to join
together in the church hall after the
9:00AM Mass for light refreshments and fellowship.
This is a wonderful time to join together as members of our parish community and the Catholic Community of Billerica and spend some time getting to know fellow parishioners. During these times of hospitality, you will also be able to learn about the goings-on and information throughout the Catholic Community of Billerica, Archdiocese, Disciples in Mission, and more. We hope you will all stop by after Mass to say hello to your fellow parishioners and have a cup of cof-fee and a donut !

tion Office (470R Boston Road) or at

Middle School—Come & See the New Format !
Come and see the new format for Religious Education for our Middle School Youth that will be offered beginning
this Fall on Monday, April 27th at 7 pm at St. Theresa
Parish Hall.
Parents of students who will be entering Grades 6, 7, & 8 as well as those who are interested in being a Catechist for this grade level are encouraged to come.
For further information please contact Tony at 978-667-3733, extension 45.
A student presented an article to his class about things which successful people did to achieve their goals. Amazingly, almost every one of the famous people he researched had identified prayer and spiritual practices as an essential part of the day. It put life in perspective and values into practice.
Jesus needs time to pray and be one with the Father. In spite of the massive needs of the people and His desire to serve, Jesus still seeks time and the quiet solitude nec-essary for prayer. The more difficult the task, and the more challenging the work, the more time He prays. Je-sus finds in prayer the grace and strength of His Father who guides and directs His mission. Prayer is essential to the success of Jesus and ultimately, the success of his Church.
Prayer strengthens our faith and renews our hope. It al-lows us to put our life in perspective, offering ourselves for the service of others. It is the Gospel of Christ we preach and the Kingdom of God we build. Don’t lose contact with the Source of our life. Pray for wisdom, strength and courage. It’s yours for the asking.
