According to a study Dublin Police conducted on residential burglaries that occurred between 2015 and 2017, the following were the top methods used to gain entry into Dublin homes to commit a burglary:
• Open Garage Door (55%)• 80% of the residential burglaries did
not display outward signs of forced entry (e.g. unlocked door, unlocked window, open garage door, no signs of force, etc.)
• Forced Entry on a Door or Window (20%)

Fitness, Nature, Fun - DiRECt to Your Neighborhood
DiRECt is a new initiative to take recreation programs offered at the Dublin Community Recreation Center out into the community, bringing fitness, nature, art and many more experiences DiRECt to you.
DiRECt Program started as Pilot Initiative in 2017

The Dublin Community Recreation Center plans to bring the fun outdoors for the entire community.
We will offer several programs outdoors, utilizing the parks from May-September in Coffman, Avery, Amberleigh, Scioto, and Thaddeus Kosciuszko Parks.
All program offerings are currently listed in the Healthy brochure and require advanced registration. Some program options are fee based while others are free.

If neighborhood association leaders are specifically looking for recreational opportunities and unique gatherings for your neighborhood—look no further!

• Civic/Homeowner Association leaders can work with us to customize programs specifically geared for the residents within your neighborhood.
• We provide a survey link for you to distribute to find out demographic info of your neighborhood and the best day/time & type of programs that are of most interest to your neighborhood.
• Options may include outdoor fitness, yoga, family activities such as art and nature education programs—all led by industry experts.
• Custom programs take place conveniently right outside your door in your nearest park or green space from June through September.
II. 2018 DiRECt to Your Neighborhood — Custom Programming
• The Civic/homeowners association president simply fills out Request Form online by May 1.
• Requests are accepted on a first come, first served basis.
• There is no fee for the HOA/civic association, but programs are fee based and require individual advanced registration at DCRC in order to participate.

We provide passive leisure activities for children/families led by a Community Recreation Instructor for a two-hour timeframe during your block party.
