‘Pressed Flowers Poetry Page’ Over the years, pressed flowers have decorated countless postcards, pages, and various other forms of medium. Many have been digitized due to its unique aesthetics once they were pressed in a book for a duration of time.

Brief:

Create your own pressed flower poetry page/pages. Design the page to be your own form of personal expression, representing your emotions, thoughts or ideas. Be as expressive and out of the box as you can!

Task:

• Choose your flowers • Press them in a thick book for 2

weeks or so until you obtain the pressed quality you so desire.

• Paste/attach or place them creatively in your IDJ page;; considering their fragility and natural qualities.

• Write/illustrate your 1 stanza (4 to 5 lines) poetry on the same page and make sure the style matched the quality of the pressed flowers.

Criteria:

• Use only ink! Black only! • Only fountain pens, quills, small

brushes, calligraphy pens or Chinese calligraphy brushes with assorted grades and sizes are allowed only.

• Attractive yet unusual design! • Strictly no conventional designs!

Conventional designs = fail! • Do this only in your IDJ • Strictly own work & no tutorials

allowed!
