The game of Futsal develops technical skills and ability. Unlike
Football, players enjoy hundreds of touches on the ball as the
sphere speeds across the smooth, glossy court floor. Futsal
trainers will aim to improve the quality of aspiring players
using a unique environment and a new technique approach.
It was adopted the application method of 30 one-hour twice a
week session, divided into three modules, I) displacement
activities in different directions; II) coordination activities and
reaction time and III) throwing and kicking activities. 20 or +
male / female participants, with no age limit.
The popularity of futsal and its practice has been increasing
more and more among young people and children, revealing
a great diversity of methods aimed at their learning (Voser &
Giust, 2002). Nonetheless, there are debates about the
different teaching methodologies for the motor skills
involved.
The sessions will be accomplished with a 10-minute warm-up,
a 25-minute playful time, a 20-minute specific activity
(Activities are represented in figure 1 below) and a 5-minute
slowdown. In the first module, the activities will be
accomplished in order to boost the participants movement
confidence.
In the second module some hints will be used for learning
improvement; and in the last module it will be provided some
hints and also to introduce some futsal specific activities.
The field will be divided by a line, which divide it into two sides. Thus, each team take possession of one side of the divided space. The players stand on the edge of their suitable field. The match start with of the teams’ ball possession. One player launch, trying to hit someone from the opposing team, if the ball hit a player and felt to the ground, the player will be considered “burned” and also "dead."
The activity consist of two teams where each one occupied
one side of the space divided by the centre line. The teams
had the same number of members and were responsible for
choosing a person to be the "pin" of the team.
After choosing the "pin" of each team, the same was set
space and his teammates were around (keeping some
distance), the team that will be in possession of the ball tries
to hit the "pin" opponent and his teammates had to defend
him. The purpose of the activity is to hit the "pin" .
Participants are going to be separated into two groups,
compound two columns on opposite sides, and there will be
four (4) participants in a straight line at a given distance. The
activity started with two balls, where each participant who is
in position number 1…
pass the ball to the Participant number 2 and thus
successively until reaching the participant number 4 that pass
to the participant number 5 of the other column.
In module 1, the ball pass will be through the pitch, in the second module the practice will be performed with the same distribution of the participants in the space, however the possession of the ball is going to change. In this case, participant number 1 would throw the ball to the participant number 2’s foot, who made the reception with the foot and then it would pass to another participant.
The latter received with the hands and then threw to the
participant number 4. And in the last module passes and
receptions are all going to be made with the feet.
With this module we also acknowledge that the motor
activities performed during futsal practice can significantly
influence the relations of body perception Vs motor action.
In addition, we also consider that body awareness can also be
improved through the other’s body awareness, encouraged
by tasks of socialization and cooperation through synesthetic
activities, common practices in interventions with physical
activities or by classes of traditional physical education.
During the sessions, the players will practice: Receiving, Passing and Fancy skills. Participants will have the ball at their feet for at least 80% of the session. The low bounce ball promotes more control and better passing, dribbling and shooting techniques. Also the high scoring and fast-paced game generate constant excitement to all the participants. All our coaches are licenced, so the participants can also expect a lot of profissionalism from them.
