Spring is almost upon us, and

as the nights get lighter and the

weather warmer, we have a

number of events at the centre,

with something to suit

everyone.

The new café is proving to be

extremely popular and is a

great way to come in and see

the Centre and view the art

exhibition, whilst sampling the

delicious home-baking. It’s also

a great meeting place for either

before or after classes, or just

to meet friends before heading

uptown.

We are extremely pleased to

welcome an array of mediums

and speakers over the next

few months and the number of

classes continue to grow, from

yoga to tai-chi, lunchtime

meditation and the ‘Hearing

Voices Choir’ to the various

psychic awareness classes.

Our own Ewan Irvine has been

running a very successful

Mediumship class, which con-

tinues with a 6 week block

focusing on one to one sit-

tings, starting 3rd April.

Tony Stockwell and James van

Praagh are back with the next

stage of their “World Class

Mediumship” Course and

there will be an evening with

Gordon Smith which will take

the format of a ‘chat-show’

where he will answer questions

on his life and his mediumship.

And, you’ll get a chance to ask

a question too!

We also have an Open Day on

Saturday 3rd May. The Open

Days are always a great suc-

cess and it is a chance to have

a mini sitting or a therapy and

come and hear some interest-

ing speakers.

Why not bring along friends and

family to our Open Day and

show them around our wonder-

ful building? Whatever you

choose, I hope to see you soon.

Telephone Calls

from the Dead

Many people, when asked, will say that at

some point in their lives that they have

experienced what they believe to be a

ghost, or have had a psychic experi-

ence. However, will many people openly

admit that they have experienced what

they believe to be a 'phone call from the

dead'?

From earliest times, people have specu-

lated about what happens when they

and their loved ones die. Their views vary

from certainty about life after death to

utter disbelief. Today, many continue to

believe in the survival of consciousness

after physical death with some claiming

actual experiences of the departed and

contact with them of some kind. In an

era which we think of as the enlightened

era of science, education and wide-

spread secularism, many people report

contact with dead.

These talks are popular so it is best to

book your tickets now.

Hailed as “Britain’s most accurate medium” Gordon has been featured in numerous television documentaries including the BBC’s

Everyman, "Mediums: Talking With the Dead" 3 part series as well as appearing as an expert guest on various shows such as This

Morning, Richard and Judy and the BBC's Heaven and Earth. Gordon has also presented one of the nation's favourite paranormal

shows, Living TV's 'Most Haunted', as well as his own series on the Biography Channel.

The evening will be an opportunity for Gordon to answer questions on mediumship, intuition, and his own incredible life story.

This is an event not to be missed and WILL sell out quickly.

We are also giving you the opportunity to ask a question too. After booking, please submit a question by email or hand into recep-

tion. All questions will be placed in a hat and a number drawn at random to be asked on the night.

Kathryn Grundy & Cain Healing

We are delighted to have Kathryn Grundy at the centre this year, and on May 9th there will be an opportunity to see her

demonstrate ‘Cain Healing’.

Cain Healing was introduced by John Cain from Birkenhead, who was an unconventional healer. He appeared to put peo-

ple into an altered state of consciousness during which there seemed to be spontaneous improvement. Sometimes

sufferers from muscular problems got up and danced; others performed what appeared to be yoga exercises.

Cain believed spirit guides controlled his healing, and these were identified independently by other psychic mediums.

Although Cain sometimes physically touched people, a great many of his cures were effected without any direct contact.

He occasionally practiced absent healing.

Cain was investigated by parapsychologists and performed healing under laboratory conditions. He was tested by

Japanese researchers in Tokyo in 1976, and also by Prof. John Taylor in London. In spite of Taylor’s scepticism about

paranormal phenomena, his findings on Cain’s healing powers were positive.

Cain died on September 28, 1985, only a few days after publisher Peter Bander had approached him to discuss a se-

cond edition of the book Heal, My Son! He was one of the most celebrated British healers, whose talents were widely

endorsed.

Kathryn Grundy and her husband, Tom, are 2 of only 4 people who were trained by John Cain to continue his healing

work. So, this is your unique chance to see and experience first hand the affects of Cain Healing and to experience

Trance Healing in its truest form. Not to be missed!
