We are in looking for Apps DBA for our Hyderabad location. Below is the detailed description of the requirement with the required experience and Skill set. Experience : 5 yrs to 12yrsWork Location & Job Type: Hyderabad & Full time.Timings: US Timings(CST)

Job Description/ Desired Skills: Roles & Responsibilities:

• Experience 8-12 Years.

• Willing to work in US hours.

• Strong experience working with Oracle versions 10gR2, 11gR1/2, 12c in a UNIX and Windows environment required.

• Strong, proven Oracle Database Performance Diagnostic skills (at both the SQL and system levels) required.

• Experience with features such as Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), ASM, Active Data Guard and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).

• Extensive experience with Backup and Recovery using Oracle RMAN.

• Maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures.

• Planning for growth and changes (capacity planning)

• Patch Management and Version Control.

• Understand user’s business needs and requirements.

• Analyze business requirements of assigned project(s)

• Evaluate and promote Oracle best practices and standards for database development.

• Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges).

• Identify bottlenecks and make corrective recommendations to assure optimum database performance.

• Recommend solutions by defining database physical structure and functional capabilities from initial design concept to final production deployment.

• Follow and maintain documentation and standards.

• Familiar with project documentations.

• Assist Sr. DBA’s in general technical trouble shooting

• Able to communicate effectively with internal team and client.

• Sound knowledge in troubleshooting complex technical problems under pressure.

• Understand the concepts of effective delegation.

• Responsible for reporting daily tasks by updating Task Tracking Sheets or other mechanisms provided by company.

• Should be able to assist PM in providing WBS and estimates for the DBA activities. Required Skills:

• DB Installations• DB Upgrades/Migrations, Patching• DB RAC/non-RAC Cloning/Refresh• Setting up RAC and ASM• Shell Scripting• Standby/Data guard config and maintenance• RMAN Backup recovery• OEM• Performance tuning• Good exposure to 24*7 international production support process• Good Documentation Skills• Good written & Verbal Communication• Must be willing to work during US hours

Preferable:

• E-Business suite 11i & R12 Administration• APPS Sysadmin• Presentation/Teaching Skills• Workflow configuration and troubleshooting• SQL, PL/SQL• Project management
