Pre-requisites Availability of key members of staff and access to necessary artifacts to allow the study to progress in a rapid manner
Inputs All relevant artifacts describing the current state and future aspirations of the organization. These artifacts should cover products, distribution, operations, IT, etc.
Execution Workshops, one on one interviews, surveys
Deliverables The deliverables listed on the left hand side will describe the 3-5 year strategic roadmap in detail and allowed the organization to embark on modernization partner/technology select and immediate execution of the “REAP Program” to bring immediate benefit to the company

4-6 Months
Purpose Manage the complexity around partner / technology selection process using best practices and in a totally impartial manner
Pre-requisites Agreement and signoff on deliverables of the strategic assessment exercise (SAE)
Inputs All artifacts from (SAE), product definitions, business processes, user epics
Execution RFQ / RFP data gathering workshops, vendor and product assessments, head to head competitions for final vendors for each stream to be built out
Deliverables Recommended list of partners and technologies to allow the strategy to be fulfilled

Rapid Enterprise Advancement Program (REAP)
• Initiatives to address urgent operational issues and business opportunities. • REAP projects are bound by principles of fixed duration, fixed spend.
2-3 Months, Iterative, potential for multiple REAP streams
Purpose – Continuous Delivery of improvements and business initiatives to the organization in mini-projects
Pre-requisites – Ability of the organization to transition to an Agile / Lean approach to enhancement
Inputs – REAP Candidate Identification, REAP “Quick Win” scopes, REAP Plan
Execution – Agile, Iterative, mini projects to deliver specific improvements and new functionality to the business. Projects are duration and cost boxed ensuring focus on adjusting scope to fit the delivery container,
Deliverables – Continuous improvements to existing operational environment while simultaneously delivering into the modernization strategy.
