The Challenge The Goals

RecargaPay decided to partner with AppLift to improve their brand visibility and to increase their active user base.

Democratizing Mobile PaymentsWhile there are more than 50 million people in Brazil with smartphones, the convenience of digital payments is not available to all due to the lack of easy access to fi nancial institutions. RecargaPay solves this problem by allowing users to access the benefi ts and convenience of mobile payments without the need for a bank account.

� To get more users for RecargaPay’s in-app services, such as phone recharges, utility pay-ments and transport card recharges.

� To maximize the ROI from user acquisition efforts by converting installed and registered users into purchasers.

The Strategy

� AppLift conducted User Acquisition and Retar-geting Campaigns with competitive CPAs, such that RecargaPay would be charged only for the actual results based on the goals.

� AppLift’s advanced targeting capabilities and ROAS-centric approach to maximizing cus-tomer value and quality enabled RecargaPay to run high-volume campaigns across rele-vant supply sources to acquire the right set of users.

� With AppLift’s unifi ed platform DataLift 360, RecargaPay was able to run sophisticated Retargeting campaigns to re-engage users who had never made an in-app purchase after installing the app. RecargaPay specially bene-fi ted from DataLift 360’s Dynamic Audience Segmentation based on a rule-building UI. This empowered them to target those users who hadn’t interacted with the app right after instal-ling it and to encourage them to use Recar-gaPay‘s services. The rules were built using boolean logic to precisely target the desired audiences at a much more granular level.

Purchase Trends of Re-Engaged Users

Over the course of 3 months, RecargaPay achieved a 500% increase in purchase events, thus signifying that there were more users for RecargaPay’s in-app services. This also indicates improved re-engagement levels among those users who had already installed the app.

While the number of in-app purchases increased, CPA levels remained at the target level, thus increasing the ROAS.
