Sailing in the wake of the great explorers, the Rendez-Vous 2017 Tall Ships Regatta is the adventure and learning opportunity of a lifetime – a 7,000 nautical mile race circumnavigating the North Atlantic Ocean visiting six countries. Sail training gives you the opportunity to step into a world of adventure. A world where you can challenge yourself, learn new skills, travel and make new friends from around the world.

Tall Ships Bermuda 2017 is now accepting applications for Trainees! Anyone 16 years of age or older is eligible to sail one or more legs of the Rendez-Vous 2017 Regatta. Priority consideration and bursaries of up to 75% are available for one leg of the race to applicants ages 18 – 25 who are Bermudian or residents of Bermuda.

At right is a schedule of sailing opportunities. Trainees would be expected to report on board the ship the day before the race leg starts and participate in the festival at the host port upon arrival. Crew changes (when the Trainee would be returning home) are typically a day or two prior to the start date of the next leg of the race.
