Application of BERO™ Biosurfactant in Qinghai Oilfield and Its Effect (2)

14 wells in of Qinghai Oilfield Company, the reason of decreasing oil

production is that the high wax in crude oil near wellbore resulted in plugging

after analysis. BERO™ biosurfactant can efficiently release hydrocarbon (oil)

on the surfaces of solid particles. It is a non-acidified preparation and will not

cause secondary pollution of reservoir or disturb crude oil dehydration and

sewage treatment systems and can prevent secondary plugging since it

produces no other new product during reaction. We had BERO treatment for

these 14 wells from October 2005, and removed organic plugging of these

wells effectively.

Q2-2 well, the reason of decreasing oil production is that the high wax in crude

oil near wellbore resulted in plugging after analysis. We carried out BERO

treatment on Q2-2 well, mixed with formation water. The temperature of the

injection fluid above 50 ℃.Pressure in the process of construction increased

from 0 psi to 1450 psi.

Q2-2 well was in close well to resume production in 5 days.Q2-2 shows base

oil from 1.4 BOPD to 3 BOPD.
