PlacementsCan I find my own placement?

• No

• You may not solicit your own placements. You may not contact teachers, schools or principals to arrange your own placement.

• If you have had a teacher tell you that they would like you to student teach in their classroom they can email the Field Placement Office to request you and we will follow up with that teacher.

• “I have someone that wants to request me; when do requests have to be in by?” We can’t guarantee we will honor requests after March 8th.

• Session 1 - we continue to work on arranging the placements and let you know when we make that arrangement with a school.

• *”*”Freaking Out*”*” We understand that this can be stressful, but (almost) everyone has survived the experience. Unprofessional emails that are rude, ALL IN CAPS, or contain one or more “!!!!!” at the end of each sentence will be deleted (the first time… Please refer to the PQA slides if you have any questions)
