The PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARS program is a unique opportunity for students attending Snead State Com-munity College. Being named a PRES-IDENTIAL SCHOLAR is a prestigious honor, and the future is unlimited because of the opportunities available through the program. PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARS are presented with a full tuition and fees scholarship. They par-ticipate in a number of service learn-ing opportunities, including a two-day leadership retreat and an educational trip to Washington, D.C. PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARS excel academically and prove to be leaders on campus.
To qualify for the PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARS program, applicants must be entering freshmen with a minimum 25 ACT and a 3.75 GPA. Finalists are interviewed by the College President or his designee prior to selection for the program.

12 font, double-spaced with one-inch margins) outlining your educational and profes-sional goals
4. Unofficial high school tran-script
5. Unofficial college transcripts (if applicable)
6. Confirmation page that FAFSA was submitted
7. Documentation of ACT scores (score report or other method of verification must be included)

**In addition to this application, students are required to apply for Federal Aid at www.fafsa.ed.gov to be considered for scholarship awards. Snead State’s code is 001038. Students do not have to be eligible for federal aid in order to qualify for scholarship awards.**
Only completed scholarship application packets with the required documentation attached will be con-sidered. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that the application packet is complete with all sup-porting documents. A completed application for admission must also be on file with the College before a scholarship may be awarded. Admission applications may be accessed at www.snead.edu.
