Each set of maps comprises low, moderate, high, and very high initial inoculum in the form of infectedstumps, as defined in previous reports. The outer boundaries of bridge trees and infection are shown by solidlines and dotted lines, respectively. Bridge trees internal to the outer boundary were those for centers whichhave since merged. The bridge-tree selection method ignores missing trees, i.e., if a bridge tree location fallsat a missing tree, another location is not selected. This is comparable to using the missing tree as a bridgetree.
