E-SURVEY YOU ARE INVITED TO HAVE YOUR SAY AND REPLY TO THIS 'THINK-TANK' E-SURVEY BY 5PM WEDNESDAY 21 JUNE 2006. THIS IS AN OPPPORTUNITY TO INFORM FUTURE GOVERNMENT POLICY AND FUNDING Please see previous emails regarding M&GSQ's commission by Arts Queensland to undertake a Sector Needs Scoping Study (NSS), especially the Terms of Reference relating to both collections and exhibition spaces:

the range of needs and issues level of services currently provided to the sector ways in which the State Government can assist in meeting Sector needs key recommendations as to the way forward

As part of the research urgently being undertaken by NSS Consultant Anna Grega, your input is required. Note: If you have already responded to the announcement email last week - thank you - and your comments will be included in the study, or you can choose to also complete this survey. We are acutely aware of time restraints for everyone and greatly appreciate your time and effort to complete the 'Think Tank' E-Survey!

'THINK TANK' E-SURVEY Visualise a comprehensive and secure '2007-2020 Blueprint' that could be developed for Queensland's museums, keeping places and galleries. This 'Blueprint' will position the sector to be sustainable through ongoing public and private investment, partnerships and integrated efforts on all fronts, best-practice, unique and significant profile, education and training, skills development, capacity building, well-considered infrastructure development and a commitment to community engagement. As a result, the Sector will be greatly valued and fully engaged with the broader community and will conserve and showcase significant objects, stories and milestones in Queensland's history and culture. So, today, M&GSQ would like you to think of tomorrow's outcomes and the achievable building blocks to get the Sector to the year 2020 where Queensland's museums, keeping places and galleries are 'striving and thriving'. With a mind-set of 'call to action' and future visioning, it would be greatly appreciated if you could complete the following survey either by e-mail or to post to M&GSQ's reply-paid address to help shape this Blueprint!
