01ART WAVEThe Art Wave is a unique, eye-catching entry feature to Bunbury. This promenade is a interactive sculpture and provides shaded social seating. It is activated with lights, colours and sounds as people move through it, with references to local aboriginal heritage. A youth services building nestles into the wave, and provides a safe space for young people to come play, socialise and connect.
02URBAN EVENTSThis multi-use ball sports court also doubles up as an event space for the local community. This space also caters to the stage on the water, providing a space for community events.
03SOUND WAVEA stage is set up with the beach as the back drop, creating a perfect space for performances that looks out onto the multi-use court and lawn area for audiences to gather.
04URBAN PLAZAThe Plaza section of the skate area has been designed to feel open and easy to flow throughout. Obstacles have been arranged in long linear lines and to allow for progression from beginner to advanced riders.
05CONCRETE WAVEA Flow Bowl includes a variety of transitioned elements ranging in height to create variety and flows to cater to many tastes. These flow bowls emulate the flow of the ocean and rid-ing the waves. A bouldering wall is included to take advantage of the level changes.
06URBAN PARKOUR + MAZEProviding challenge and new experiences for all ages, the parkour/ maze area is an immersive experience for all abilities. Partly accessible, the maze then spills out onto the natural beach landscape. The varying heights of the vaults and bars provide an array of challenges for user to run, jump, swing and balance on.
07PLAY WAVEThis sculptural wave element repeats here and offers a playful experience, through climbing, challenge and socializing. Aimed at tween and older children this space offers trampolines, fitness elements and single point swing for the older age group.
08BEACH WAVEThe beach wave features an accessible deck with social hangout net and social sun deck. The deck becomes a water craft jetty and the sand area is formalised for beach activities. This is a great link to the water ways and opportunity for interpretive links to heritage.
09URBAN FOODDesignated area for food trucks and paved area with formal and informal seating for people to gather and enjoy.

Creating an iconic band through the space, the sculpture/ art wave is a visually stunning passage enabling an interactive journey of light, colour and sound from one point to the next with links to local aboriginal heritage .
The Urban Wave is a unique sculptural elements that is an important pedestrian link offering a promenade from beach foreshore
to town centre.
This space is a youth precinct that incorporates a youth services building that is in the heart of the precinct providing a safe space where young people can come along, connect with others, skate, play, socialise and enjoy a connection to the water.

The play wave is an area which encompasses the active side of play: challenge, adventure, recreation. Targeted at ‘tweens’ and teens, this is a space for exploration, getting active and redefine ideas of play through a variety like a single point swing, trampolines. The Play wave is a continuation of the iconic sculptural element that offers playful additions such as climbing nets, slides and acts as an accessible
tunnel with interactive sensory elements for all ages and abilities to enjoy. The Play Wave is also a hangout space serving as a point of restoration and soicalising before moving on to the next play element.

Providing challenge and new experiences for all ages, the parkour/ maze area is an immersive experience for all abilities to enjoy and interact together. Partly accessible with softfall rubber, the maze then spills out onto the natural beach landscape. The varying heights of the vaults provide an array of
challenges for user to run, jump, swing and balance on. The vaults also double up as informal seating when not being utilised as active elements.

The beach wave is an accessible board walk promenade along the waterfront, that features a sun bathing deck - The Sun Wave and a social hangout net - The Sun Wave- for a unique place to hangout, swim and enjoy the summer heat.
The existing sand is highlighted and formalised into a small beach to create greater
opportunities to interact with the water, and there are opportunities to further highlighting local heritage throughout the Beach Wave. Extending out into the water is a jetty for water crafts to be launched such as kayaks, paddle boards and other water sports.The beach Wave also offers the Sound Wave, a stage for events and performances.

Multipurpose courts, seating and open areas allow for this space to be dynamic and flexible. This space provides a place for community to gather and enjoy entertainment as delivered on stage or come together for a game of basketball or soccer.
The sound wave is a permanent stage set up with the water way as a back drop, looking out onto the multicourt space and open lawn for crowds to gather and enjoy the performances and community events.

The new car park offers a perfect opportunity for regular food truck to occupy the space activating the space at key times as well as for larger organised events.
To the edge of the car park the Art Wave provides shade and extends out into a spill
out area with opportunities for formal and informal seating.
A place for people to enjoy a bite to eat and creates an opportunity for diversity in food and culture during community events.

The Plaza section of the skatepark has been designed to feel open and easy to flow throughout. Obstacles have been arranged in long linear lines, however hips and transitions in the centre and at each end of the facility allow users to transfer into different sections of the park. Individual areas can also be sessioned in isolation.
Features have been designed to allow for progression from beginner to advanced riders, ledge features vary from a kerb height manual pad to 8-stair hubba ledges, and there are various round and square rails of different height and complexity. “Wallied” sides to blocks and whippy transition features have been included for further variation.

The Flow Bowl includes a variety of transitioned elements ranging from 5-foot to 8-foot in height. There is a 5-foot bowled mini-ramp, pockets and hips including roll-ins. The extension elements include an 8-foot high flat bank, 7-foot pocket, blended central volcano feature and 8-foot pocket with pool coping. A separate Pool Bowl has been included that includes transitions varying from 6-foot to
8-foot deep with a variety of pockets, hips and pool coping throughout.
Taking advantage of the level changes a bouldering wall is incorporated into the side of the skate bowl adding another challenging activity to the space.
