Who is this qualification for?
Qualification overview
The APM Project Fundamentals Qualification, developed by the Association for Project Management, offers a fundamental awareness of project management terminology. It is a qualification designed for those embarking on a project management career who require recognition for their general project management knowledge and awareness.
It is based on the Association for Project Management’s Body of Knowledge and covers the syllabus for the APM Project Fundamentals examination. Candidates will take a one hour, 60 question multiple choice exam paper at the end of the training course which has a pass mark of 60%.
The APM Project Fundamentals Qualification is aimed at those wishing to gain a broad understanding of the principles of the profession. It is suitable for all levels of staff who are relatively new to project management in order to fulfil a role as a project team member. No prior knowledge or experience is required for this qualification. However, project experience will bring an advantage to the course.
“The trainer made everyone feel part of the course and interacted with us just as if we were in the same room. I would recommed virtual courses as I felt I still obtained the same benefits as if I was at a live course.” PFQ delegate
