API - 610 Pump Features Floway vertical turbine pumps consist of multi-
staging in the medium specific speed range from1,300 NS through 5,000 NS.
Floway pumps are able to produce highpressures with premium efficiencies and lowoperating costs.
Low NPSH first stage construction is availablewhich allows for a reduction in can length fordouble casing pumps and minimum submer-gence for wet pit single casing pumps.
Pressure and flow variations are achieved bychanging the number of stages or impeller type.
The pump bowl assembly is characterized aslow energy per stage resulting in a broad flowrange with excellent hydraulic stability.
Thrust balanced impellers are available for pumpaxial thrust reduction and assist in obtainingthe desired thrust bearing rating/life.

Flow Testing Three test pits for flows to 40,000 GPM. Pressures to 3,000 PSI. 60Hz electrical power through 3,000 HP. All pressure and flow measuring equipment
calibrated with traceability to NIST. 50Hz electrical power testing available. Complete string test for mechanical run testing at
50Hz and 60Hz.
NPSH Testing Testing equipment for flows to 35,000 GPM.
NOTE: API-610 Plan 52 includes a tandem shaftseal with reservoir and non-pressurized bufferfluid between seals. Buffer fluid circulation ismaintained by pumping ring integral with seal.Reservoir vent to recovery system is normal. Anoptional pressure switch is available to alarmwhen buffer fluid pressure increases due toprimary seal leakage.
