❑ Look into finding a summer program, job, or internship in your career field of interest.

Summer Opportunities.HOBY (Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership)- June 12-14, 2020 (NSCU & WFU)- Registration opens in late January; $395

Summer Ventures (NC School of Science & Math)- 4-week residential program with hands-on,

independent learning in STEM areas- Application closes January 15

Shelton Leadership Camp (NCSU)- 6-day program housed at NCSU & Charlotte- applications opened Nov 1- NCSU: June 7-12, July 12-17, July 26-31- Charlotte: June 21-26

Summer Opportunities.NCSU Programs - 23 summer programs!- Agriculture, Communications, Design, Drum Major,

Engineering, Poultry Science, Writing, VetCamp, etc

Young Innovators Program (UNC-Chapel Hill)- 8-week residential; STEM research in pharma

science; hands-on research & lab experience!

Chance Program (UNCG)- 6-day program for Latinx students; leadership skills

& college preparation.- $65 fee due by March 1

Future Summer Opportunities....Bank of America Leaders Program (JR or SR)- application closes January 31- paid 8-week internship at local non-profit

NC Governor’s School (summer 2021)- 5 ½ week residential program; academics & arts
