APEC LEADER'S WEEK ADVISORY: Road Closure and Alternate Routes #2

Here is the additional information for Makati Traffic Advisory Rerouting Schemefor APEC LEADERS WEEK.

November 16-19, 2015 [MondayThursday] For portions of West Street, North Street and Parkway Drive, only authorized vehicles with dash cards will be

allowed to enter the area.

Traffic Rerouting:

Motorist along AYALA Avenue from EDSA going towards 6750 Building, The link, The Landmark and Glorietta 3Basement Parking shall proceed ahead and take a left turn or U-turn at Makati Avenue to destinations.

The Link will be closed to retail parking while reserved parkers will be allowed to pass through and make a counter-flow at West Street coming from Parkway Drive.

On the other hand, access to 6750 Building car park will be at West Street corner Ayala Avenue 6750 Building

tenants can access thru Parkway Drive by presenting their corporate IDs.

November 16-17, 2015 [MondayTuesday] from 03:00 P.M.11:00 P.M.

Westbound direction of Ayala Avenue from Makati Avenue to Paseo de Roxas lanes along Tower One and

Exchange Plaza (TOEP) and Makati Stock Exchange Building (MSE) shall be closed to traffic.

Traffic Rerouting:

Westbound vehicles along Ayala Avenue from EDSA going towards Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue shall turn right atMakati Avenue, left at Paseo de Roxas and right at Ayala Avenue or may turn left at Makati Avenue, right at DelaRosa Street, right at Paseo de Roxas and left at Ayala Avenue.

Private vehicles going to TOEP and MSE will be allowed to enter from 03:00 P.M. to 05:00 P.M. only.

November 18, 2015, [Wednesday] from 07:00 A.M. to 01:00 P.M.

Portion of the Eastbound direction of Ayala Avenue, from Makati Avenue to Parkway Drive along Makati Shangri-laHotel and 6750 Building shall be closed to traffic.

The opposite direction will be made two-way - Two (2) inner lane adjustment to the center island are for theeastbound vehicles while the two (2) outer lanes adjacent to the curbs are for the westbound vehicles.

Here are some tips from MMDA and APEC LEADERs WEEK preparations.

Plan your trip ahead. Security will be tight in all NAIA Terminals on November 17, 19, and 20.

A no-fly zone over the area will also be implemented on these dates.

From November 15-20, a stop-and-go scheme will be implemented along parts of EDSA, Roxas Blvd, Skyway andSLEX, and roads around NAIA.
