Meteorology has been around how long?

In this college level course, students will experience and learn about population dynamics, environmental quality, global environmental change and environmental laws and ethics.

The first recorded study of

meteorology was from India around

500 BC

Students will study & experience college level topics that include: biochemistry, cell biology, genetics, biotechnology, evolution, taxonomy, plant & animal systems and ecology.

Chemistry and/or AP Chemistry Students will study & experience college level topics that include: atomic structure, chemical bonding, states of matter, stoichiometry, kinetics, equilibrium and chemical reactions.

Students will explore the macroscopic features of the world through the following topics: Newtonian mechanics, work, energy & power, mechanical waves & sound and circuits.

Calculus will provide an outlet for students to demonstrate their algebraic and trigonometric skills through a variety of learning objectives such as derivatives, limits and integrals.

Statistics will enhance students’ mathematical thinking skills and encourage students to concentrate on statistical processes and analyses. Statistics is imperative for any future meteorologist.
