“Where Every Child Counts”
Diagnostician
Appreciation Week March16th-20th
The teachers of MJH work diligently and passionately day in and day out to
provide your child with first-class instruction that fosters personal growth and
success making MJH a great place to learn! Our curriculum is constantly being
reviewed and revised through endless analyzation of student data in order to meet
the needs of ALL students throughout the year. Our teachers at MJH are dedicated
individuals that love kids and love teaching! We are not only preparing students to be
successful on state assessments but more importantly preparing them to flourish at
the high school level and beyond. All we can ask of our students is to do their very
best on everything they do! It’s ALL about PROGRESS!!!
State assessments (STAAR testing) are just around the corner so it’s time for
our students to show what they know! Our students are here to show the STAAR test
who’s BOSS!! We ask that you please make sure that your child gets plenty of rest
and that he/she has a healthy breakfast on the day of testing. Your child’s attend-
ance on testing days are extremely important so we advise you to reschedule any
doctor or dentist appointments to a later date. It is also crucial that your child arrives
at school on time and that he/she stays for the full school day.
If at all possible any electronic devices (cell phones, iPads, iPods, blackber-
ries, kindles, apple watches, etc.) should be left at home on the day of testing. If not,
be aware that all electronic devices will be taken up before testing and given back at
the end of the 4 hour testing window. Comfortable clothing is encouraged so that the
students feel relaxed and ready to ace the test but please make sure they are still in
dress code (no pajama’s, pillows, or blankets are allowed). Thank you for your
assistance in helping your child have a successful testing experience. Here we go!
LET’S DO THIS!! Testing dates are as follows:

Theatre Arts: Mrs. Morales would like to CELEBRATE the month of March because
it’s known as the “Theatre in our Schools Month”! The 16th-20th is also known as
“School Theater Arts Drama Week”. She would like to showcase this by creating a daily
blurb for our MJH Live class announcements to make people aware and more knowledge-
able on the subject matter. The puppets that her TA students are making free-style and
by hand will be showcased and on display for all to admire. This will go along PERFECT
to spotlight such an occasion as Theatre in our Schools Month!! Thank you, Mrs. Morales, for this learning opportunity!
*Advanced Theatre Arts Auditions are on March 16th and 17th here at the JH-3:30-5:00.
*You won’t want to miss– The Wizard of Oz performance performed by none other than
our talented TA students of MJH. It will be on Saturday, March 21st @ 6:00pm, right

Art: THANK YOU to Ms. Marsh, Ms. Alexander and their AMAZING art students
for helping me with our upcoming STAAR decorations. It’s time to motivate and
we couldn't do it without the help from you guys and gals! THANK YOU!
Congratulations to MJH’s 2020 Paraprofessional
of the Year, Raelee Trull AKA “Rae Rae” or
“Trully” or just “The best paraprofessional
known to man!” Mrs. Trull helps our math teachers
and students EVERY SINGLE DAY. She aids
without hesitation and she loves unconditionally.
She understands students’ struggles and knows how
to reach them in a way that is truly magical. She
builds STRONG and EVERLASTING relationships with
students and has a way about her that students
want to succeed and want to do what’s expected of
them because they simply do NOT want to let her
down. She is that hope that some students need in
order to learn and feel successful in math class. We
like to describe Mrs. Trull as hilarious, quick on
her feet, HARDWORKING, sweet, genuine,
caring, determined, selfless, big hearted,
extremely helpful, thoughtful, jokester, humble,
passionate, compassionate, team player,
dedicated and witty…Just to name a few! We
are extremely fortunate that you are on OUR
team! So…Congrats, Mrs. Raelee Trull, as you
are crowned our MJH Paraprofessional of the
Year! Thank you for all you do for our campus,
staff, students and ME!! Very well deserved!
