Because the Girls State program is entirely non-partisan, citizens operate with mock political par-ties. They elect local and state party officials, and write their own party platforms. The program was led by Party Coordinator Kailey Peck and Party Sponsors Becky Rigas (Fed) and Rhett Parr (Nat). National Party State Chair: Rin Chiang, Vice-Chair: Zoe Barnes, House Whip: Grace Mathis, Senate Whip: Tracy Hsia. Federal Party State Chair: Rachel Casey, Vice-Chair: Nancy Lemus, House Whip: Sarah Rider, Senate Whip: Evelyn McGowan.
