FROM THE PASTOR
HE'S STILL RISEN! Last week was an incredible week of
worship with a packed house. I heard from so many people that
were moved by the music and the Easter message. I am always
grateful to hear the impact that our assembly has on our members
and community. But today, I want to remind you that He's still
risen and He is doing some things in His resurrection that we
desperately need. In my sermon today, I want to consider where
Jesus' resurrection power meets us. If you are wondering today if
the risen Savior can work in you, through you, and for your
benefit, the answer is a resounding yes.
If you are visiting with us, I would be so appreciative for you to
take a moment and fill out the connection card located in the back
of your pew. It is a helpful resource for us to know you better and
know how to serve you best. After you have completed the card,
drop it in the offering plate at the conclusion of today’s service.
Finally, tonight we will meet in the sanctuary at 6:00 for Vision
Sunday. This meeting is a time where our church looks at
business matters as well as direction for the upcoming quarterly
events. It will be very informative for you to know what is
coming up in the life of our church. Each ministry area will share
about opportunities for you to be involved and join us in some
specific prayer needs. I hope that you will be able to join us again
this evening in the sanctuary for this great time together.
Keep Moving Forward,
Pastor Steven Smithson
