2016 Centrepoint Finance Group Conference On September 8th-10th 2016, our team attended the Centrepoint Finance Group’s 2nd Triennial conference held

at the Mercure Palms Resort at the Gold Coast. We were also joined by guest speakers and a number of lenders,

who provided us with various information and team building sessions. One of our nights held a celebratory dinner

awards dinner and show, where we were entertained by a local magician, and Shane was recognised for 10

years of service under the Centrepoint Finance banner. This is a fantastic milestone for Shane who has now been

in the industry for over 37 years !! Below are some pics from our weekend - we had a massive few days of

learning and team building and we look forward to what our next meet will hold in 2019!

SPRING PARTY RECIPE: BBQ Chicken Wings Ingredients:

1/4 cup oil

3 onions, sliced

1 cup white vinegar

1 cup tomato passata (cooking sauce)

1/2 cup honey

1/4 cup VEGEMITE

1 tablespoon smoked paprika

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

2kg chicken wings, cut into 2 pieces at the joint, discard wing tips

QUIZ - What is the

It was all work & no play...Not likely !

Method:

1. Heat the oil in a saucepan, add the onions and cook, covered, over a

low heat for 12-15 minutes or until beginning to brown

2. Add the vinegar, passata, honey, VEGEMITE, paprika and pepper. Bring to the boil, reduce the heat and

simmer for 10-15 minutes or until thickened slightly

3. Reserve and refrigerate 1 cup (for serving). Place the remainder in a large bowl to cool. (refrigerate if not

using within 2 hours.)

4. Toss the chicken wings in the marinade until well coated. Refrigerate for 30 minutes

5. Remove the chicken from the marinade and bbq over a medium to low heat for 15-20 minutes turning

occasionally until cooked through. Serve hot or warm with reserved sauce

to purchase two investment properties, the first for $172,000 and the second for $170,000. He wants a smart
