Class Projects:

TK/K Garden End Tables

Our youngest knights from Mrs. Dees, Mrs.

Erickson and Mrs. Ballews’ classes have created two garden end tables using reclaimed wood and mosaic tiles.

Each child exhibited their creativity by decorating their own

unique tile. These tables would be perfect for a covered patio or sunspace!

1st Grade LOVE Book and Picture Shelf

This shelf is made with "love" by the Newcastle first graders. It is 5' tall from top to bottom, spells out LOVE

and is perfect for any room in the house. Along with this beautiful shelf, each student chose a book they loved

and wrote a book report that were then compiled into a book. Also, to help fill the shelves they have included

picture frames and a Barnes and noble gift card worth $25.

2nd Grade Sports and Games (March Madness)

The 2nd graders in Mrs. Clifton/Dukes and Mrs. Seckers’ classes have created a one-of-a-kind lawn Yahtzee

game for you to enjoy! It was stained, sanded and painted by the hard working students and will bring tons of

fun to your BBQ’s, birthday parties or family game time!

As a bonus with this prize you will also

receive 4 prime tickets to the 2017 March Madness tournament in the new

Golden One Center! (minimum value $2000!)

3rd Grade Chicken Coop

The students in Mrs. Feickert and Mrs. Bales classes helped to build this fabulous backyard chicken coop! The

coop is 4ft x 7ft with two nesting boxes, wheels for transportation, and would be a great home for 3 to 4

chickens.

The students also helped create a “starter kit” to accompany the coop so that you can hit the ground running

with your very own flock!

4th Grade Garden Clock Tower The 4th graders

in Mrs. Tucker and Mrs. Bales’ classes have helped to create an 8ft tall clock tower made from redwood and

other reclaimed materials. The students decorated the flower pots and planted the flowers that go along with

the tower and even helped to build the clock itself. This would be a beautiful addition to any garden or

outdoor space!

5th Grade Watercolor Photo Collage

Mr. Liebert’s 5th grade class created their own watercolor representation of the idea that reading gives you wings. “The more you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the

more places you’ll go.– Dr. Seuss

This project is a collage of photos taken of Mrs. Lacey’s 5th grade class showing their love for our awesome

school. These photographs showcase each students individuality and creativity.

6th Grade Outdoor Patio Table with Built in Cooler Boxes

The 6th Graders in Mr. Erickson and Mrs. Hall-Nicholas’ classes have helped to build an extraordinary redwood

patio table with two built in cooler boxes. The table is 6ft 4in long and 3ft 5in wide and comes with two

matching benches. Your next BBQ is sure to be a hit with this beauty in your backyard!

7th Grade Mosaic American Flag Clock

The 7th Grade students have created a 36” round mosaic clock made of octagon cut glass beads. These beads

sparkle with deep red, white and blue portraying our beloved

American Flag! Along with this patriotic clock, the winner will also receive a set of novels about early American

History, each signed by the author.

8th Grade Portable Bar This beautiful handcrafted portable bar is made of redwood and wrapped in corrugated metal for a modern flair.

The top is fashioned with bottle caps artfully placed by the 8th grade students. Matching coasters and a bucket of

beer and wine come with this outstanding work of art.

This amazing bar is sure to be the center of attention at all of your indoor and outdoor gatherings!

Teacher Experiences

Comida with Senora Close: Your child and a guest will get to go out to lunch at Café Delicias and dessert

with our Spanish Teacher, Senora Close. The students can practice ordering their “comida” using the Spanish

they’ve learned in class! You will also receive a piñata for your own family fiesta!

Behind the Scenes Tour of the School: Your student and two guests will get a special tour of the school

from Mr. Mize, Facilities Manager, and find out how our school works on a day to day basis. After the tour

Mr. Mize will take the student and guests out to lunch in his legendary vehicle “The Yellowjacket!”

Principal for the Day: Your student will get to spend the day with Newcastle Principal Liz Staton and find

out what it really takes to lead our school! Lunch included!

Art at Image Pathways with Mrs Feickert:

Your student and 3 guests will get to explore their creative sides with Mrs. Feickert on a trip to Image

Pathways studio in downtown Newcastle. They will get to create with multiple art mediums, enjoy yummy

treats, and have lots of fun!

Ginger Bread Houses with Mrs. Ballew and Mrs. Erickson: Your child and two guests will get to

spend an afternoon decorating Gingerbread houses and watching a Holiday movie with Mrs. Erickson and Mrs.

Ballew. This experience is always a student favorite and something your child is sure to love!

PodPi Coding Experience with Mrs. Bales Do you want your child to learn to think like a maker? Has your child learned to code on Scratch Code.org, or Code Academy? Now it's time to go to the next level of learning using hands-on electronics and concepts. Less screen more activities and problem solving. Mrs. Bales will help you to begin this journey using The Island of PodPi and Arduino.

Breakfast Experience With Mrs. Secker Your child can get their day off to a fabulous start by having breakfast with Mrs. Secker and two friends of their choosing. The students can put in their orders for their favorite breakfast and Mrs. Secker will cook it up and serve it hot! Waffles, pancakes, sausage, and fresh fruit...or whatever their hearts desire, will be served to them by candlelight and music. What a treat!

Musical Theatre and Frozen Treat with Mrs Aday Your child and two guests will get to accompany Mrs. Aday to McGlaughlin Theatre Company’s children’s production of The Jungle Book (or another show if dates are not conducive for you) and ice cream at Taylors! Mrs. Aday loves musical theatre and is excited to share her excitement with your student!

Dinner and a Movie with Mrs Stocks and Mrs Cunningham With this fun prize your student and a friend will be whisked away by Mrs. Stocks and Mrs. Cunningham for dinner at Chipotle and a movie at the Auburn Regal theater. This is an awesome opportunity for your student to connect with their teachers while having tons of fun!

Terms and Conditions:

All bids must be secured with a credit card prior to the auction.

We will assign a proxy to represent your bid in the auction. You must provide us with the maximum bid

amount that you will authorize. If the bidding stops below your maximum, you will get the item for the lower

price. If the bidding exceeds your maximum, the proxy will stop bidding. Your bidding information will be kept

confidential.

We will inform you by Wednesday November 9th if you were the highest bidder, the final price that was

charged to your credit card, and to coordinate pickup of the item(s). You are responsible for all shipping and

handling costs, registration, travel and accommodations if applicable.
