Dear Good Shepherd Families:
GS School Council is excited to be planning the annual Staff
Appreciation Lunch to recognize the hard-working, dedicated staff who
guide and teach our children. This year’s lunch will be held on
Wednesday, May 23, 2018.
It is our wonderful community of parents that traditionally make this such a successful event!
To assist with this year’s lunch, we are asking for your help by signing up online for one (or
more) of the following areas:
• Food – a suggested menu list is included in our online volunteer SignUp.
• Supervision volunteers – In order for all staff to share the meal together, we are
looking for parent volunteers to provide supervision (indoor & outdoor) for all students
from approximately 12:00-12:45.
• Set-up/Take-Down Volunteers • Gift Donations – Donations of gift cards ($10-$15 range), bottles of wine, and other non-
gender specific gifts that will be provided to staff during the lunch. These are asked to
be dropped off at the school office by Thursday May 17th.
If you can assist in any way, please signup online at
https://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080e49aeae23a6fd0-gsstaff by indicating your volunteer
and/or donation preferences before Thursday, May 17, 2018.
Thank you for helping to show our GS staff how much they are appreciated! If you have any
questions, please feel free to contact Linda Beebe ([email protected]).

Safety
We understand that finding parking during
morning drop off and pick up can be a
challenge. However, for the safety of all
students, please refrain from entering our
STAFF parking lot and making U turns in
front of the school. In addition, please use
the crosswalk when crossing the street with
your child.
We appreciate your cooperation and
assistance in keeping students safe.
Volunteer Appreciation
On Wednesday, May 16th, during the Fine Arts
Extravaganza, we will be honoring and thanking all our volunteers this year. There will be a table set up for prize opportunities and a small gift as a token of our appreciation.
