THE PROJECT :

Design a 4000 capacity

convention center with 1500

capacity plenary hall at Mohali

THE DESIGN :

The structure is designed in

contemporary context in

contrast to the existing

modern architecture .

The site has strong potential to be developed as a convention Centre for meeting and conferences because it is

connect with commercial areas ,airport and other cultural areas which will support convention Centre..

There is no international convention Centre north of Delhi , so the Mohali project is one of the most ambitious

projects of the Punjab government.

It will provide high degree of accessibility to my site in terms of smooth traffic flow.

which provide access to site with service lane.

Approach:From200ftwideroadConnecting it to Chandigarh

Off Site Features: The site is located in the Commercial Hub of Mohali Sector 62.

Entry: with a distance of 100mt from

YPS chowk through 100ft wide road.

Location: The site is located in Central Business District (CBD)of Mohali; and right at the entrance of Mohali, when approached from Chandigarh.

SITE PLAN The total area proposed for the site is 14 Acres with 2.50 FAR and 40 % Ground Coverage for project Site.

The site has a plain terrain with small shrubs and can be used for landscape also.

The site has a Green Buffer being developed on all four sides.
