Contributed as the leader of an engineering team to design rocker moldings for four SUV models including interlocking and robust attaching solutions. Conducted engineering studies to allow reduction of design gaps of the moldings to be reduced from 5.0 mm to 1.5mm.

Contributed to product development teams with German suppliers to coordinate timelines and follow development path of emblems, resulting in four emblem projects released successfully and with less than 3% faulty parts, per quality requirements.

Technical Solutions: Reduced warranty cost and incidents for rocker moldings from 20% failure rate to 3%, which fell into

expected parameters by redesigning attachment clips.

Produced specifications of exterior lighting for relevant Mexican market vehicles. Aligned legal requirements for Europe, Japan, and North America, to ensure product compatibility across markets, and 100% compliance with aforementioned legal requirements.

Recognized by the GM Mexico's executive board for leading the project design of the new Chevy emblem for small car 2004 grille. This new design reduced theft incidents from 15% to less than 1%, since this emblem was mechanically attached to the grill, not just glued.
