TRANSOCEAN OFFSHORE DRILLING – Houston, Texas 2009 – 2015Functional Specialist (2015) – Assets Analyst (2013) – ERP Systems Developer (2010)Business Analysis & Technical Solutions Designed and implemented a Rig Modification Request application from workflow design and

requirements gathering to testing and production release, including all requirements documentation, security and user interface. This application resulted in a reduction of 50% rejected or canceled rig modification requests.

Reduced out-of-service days for all rigs on Transocean fleet by 20% by releasing an out-of-service application that showed all money and idle days needed for each rig, increasing visibility of idle periods.

Created appropriate test cases for in-house applications, using Visual Studio, Visio, and HP Quality Center, resulting in less than 1% critical errors in production release of the aforementioned applications.

Introduced a new interface to synchronize Transocean’s database with ABS and DNV classification agencies. The release of this interface increased accuracy of certification information from 20% to 95%.

Financial Planning & Forecasting: Increased visibility of Transocean financials and metrics by developing appropriate tools for entering

financial forecasts budgets and actual costs. This resulted in a 15% reduction of wasteful expenditures.

Improved reports for financial and engineering performance measures, using pivot tables, financial reports and project timelines. This resulted in a 100% visibility of the company's financial picture by the executive team.

Teamwork: Managed the interaction between the IT team and the asset group for Transocean's proprietary Asset

Planning Tool, which reduced hidden costs on all rigs budget by 75%. This was achieved by interlocking APT with the budget and reducing discretionary rig projects.

Contributed as the leader of an engineering team to design rocker moldings for four SUV models including interlocking and robust attaching solutions. Conducted engineering studies to allow reduction of design gaps of the moldings to be reduced from 5.0 mm to 1.5mm.

Contributed to product development teams with German suppliers to coordinate timelines and follow development path of emblems, resulting in four emblem projects released successfully and with less than 3% faulty parts, per quality requirements.

Technical Solutions: Reduced warranty cost and incidents for rocker moldings from 20% failure rate to 3%, which fell into

expected parameters by redesigning attachment clips.

Produced specifications of exterior lighting for relevant Mexican market vehicles. Aligned legal requirements for Europe, Japan, and North America, to ensure product compatibility across markets, and 100% compliance with aforementioned legal requirements.

Recognized by the GM Mexico's executive board for leading the project design of the new Chevy emblem for small car 2004 grille. This new design reduced theft incidents from 15% to less than 1%, since this emblem was mechanically attached to the grill, not just glued.
