Corporate Overview

The company has three core business focus areas;

1. Anthology- the Travellers’ Collection aims to create a compendium

of travel experiences with a focus on nature and culture, specializing

in the management, marketing and distribution of challenging assets

in remote and regional settings. Anthology currently manages and

markets the iconic premium wetlands Safari Lodge - Wildman

Wilderness Lodge - in the Top End of the Northern Territory , Wilpena

Pound Resort in the Flinders Ranges National Park, South Australia

(which also includes Wilpena Air Services and Ikara Safari Camp) and

Featherdale Wildlife Park in Western Sydney, NSW.

Anthology brings these distinctive Australian tourism experiences

under one banner with the common values of conservation,

distinctiveness, and local context.

By assembling a portfolio of individual assets and experiences under

one common management and marketing banner, Anthology is able

to deliver operational efficiencies and global distribution for individual

owners and investors.

2. Anthology’s asset management division represents the interests of

resort and tourism related owners who have appointed internationally

recognised brands to manage their businesses. Anthology also

provides a similar service to owners who choose to owner-operate.

Currently, Anthology is focused on the sale process and the potential

addition of another long term management contract and therefore

currently has no asset management contracts. Historically, Anthology

has provided asset management services for Cradle Mountain Lodge

in Tasmania; Ramada Phillip Island Resort in Victoria; and Soul on

Queensland’s Gold Coast.

3. Anthology’s strategic planning work is at the cutting edge of

industry knowledge and best practice. Projects have included

visioning exercises for World Heritage areas, strategic plans for

state government tourism and National Park agencies and feasibility

studies for tourism acquisitions or developments. In recent times,

Anthology has chosen to focus on core business but this aspect of

the business holds substantial potential for a new owner.

Anthology commenced with the vision to create a new, boutique

experiential tourism and travel brand which best represent the

interests of owners of unique and challenging tourism assets.

Anthology offers a range of support services to resort and tourism related owners designed to enhance performance and generate value.

Anthology BrandAnthology means a collection – in this case a collection of travel experiences.

More specifically it is a collection of stories, poems or beautiful passages from

authors. This is seen as being highly relevant to the rich and meaningful travellers’

tales which will result from undertaking an experience with Anthology. After all, great

travel marketing and delivery is about storytelling and the experience that gives life to

the stories that travellers are able to bring home to share with friends.

Brand architectureThey believe that the experience or asset is the hero in any Anthology

travel experience. Therefore, the word “Anthology” will not appear in the

name of any portfolio businesses. The Anthology brand serves as an

umbrella for the Collection. It is intentionally neutral in colour, allowing

the individual experiences to be differentiated by colour and font.

When presented together the individual brands are clearly part of the

Collection, however, they stand alone when presented in isolation.

Each experience retains a uniqueness and personality.

The creation of the brand, Anthology, was a very deliberate process.

Knowing what it wanted the brand to stand for and knowing it needed

it to be different to a conventional tourism/travel approach.

EssenceAnthology offers travel experiences that stay with you forever

ValuesMemorable experiences:Anthology offers experiences that require involvement and exploration.

It encourages an adventurous spirit and belief that the diverse and

challenging experiences will lead to meaningful and awe-inspiring

life moments.

DistinctivenessAnthology operates in rare and interesting locations. Using a fresh

approach to tourism, the aim is to showcase the unique aspects of

each place, creating an experience where learning and understanding

becomes part of the journey.

ConservationAware and respectful of the natural and cultural environments within

which it operates. The approach is ethical and cooperative. Working

towards sustainable practices at all levels and locations within the

business.

Quality serviceThe guests can expect a consistent, caring, informative and trustworthy

level of service, constantly thinking about the guests and the unique

environments with strong consideration. Anthology has an unwavering

commitment to adding value in unexpected ways.

Local authenticityThe approach is genuine and sincere. The individuals in Anthology’s

team share a common approach that is down-to-earth and open. They

have a passion for the people and places where they operate.

Competitive AdvantageThe Anthology Brand is seen as the gold standard by National Parks

Agencies and World Heritage Custodians. The managers of sensitive and

endangered areas feel more comfortable about a tourism development

or operation if Anthology is involved in the process.

Being a boutique company, Anthology is able to combine bespoke

experiences with a disciplined and structured approach to tourism. Its

size and diversity enables it to be flexible and customize management

and marketing arrangements to suit owners and investors.
