Company History

Inotek was first established in 1996 as an antenna design and

development company. With their innovative concepts of designs and

usage, it soon built a niche in the market and became a preferred supplier

of antennas for the leading operators in UK. Four years later it merged

with Racal antennas, which was further acquired by Thales, who

eventually sold the antenna division (Racal Antenna) to the Cobham

group of companies.

In October 2006, focussing on their core defence related business,

Cobham decided to sell Racal Antennas civilian telecom business. In

March 2007 Inotek bought from Racal, designs for over 100 antenna

products and all manufacturing and test equipment to re-establish as an

independent antenna design and manufacturing company. Inotek carries

Base Station antenna products for all frequency bands i.e. GSM900,

GSM1800, UMTS(CDMA/3G), and PCS as well as in-building and

disguised antennas in their portfolio. We boast of a complete capability to

develop designs both for civilian and defence applications. Inotek

products use the latest techniques and meet the stringent standards set in

the high-density networks of the world. Electrical performance,

mechanical integrity and compact, low cost designs are the hallmark of

the company's products. Intoek has made a point to keep abreast with the

changing requirements of cellular networks worldwide. This is not just in

frequency allocation but also in the now vitally important aspect of

environment acceptability.

A significant part of the UK mobile network owned by leading mobile

operators such as Vodafone, O2, T-mobile, Orange and Three use Inotek

products. In addition, Inotek has expertise in developing customised

designs to customer requirements where often applications demand

unusual characteristics.

Inotek Antennas has design and manufacturing facilities in UK and a high

volume manufacturing unit and design centre in India.

THE ‘Twin Beam’ models (Type 2240, 2241 and 2243) have

been designed to double channel capacity at busy sites

by replacing the existing single panel. They comprise two

separate dual polar antennas side-by-side in a single

radome. This configuration reduces visual impact and

simplifies installation, providing cost advantages over

separate panels. Model variants are available giving

different gain and electrical downtilt to exactly match

your site requirements. All models feature an vary low

component count and one piece Printed circuit board.

This results in consistently high product quality and

reliability, having an excellent intermodulation

performance. Two connectors for each antenna panel

are provided at the base of the antenna.
