GOSPEL ACCORDING TO ST MATTHEW Fr. Eugene Vaz will take us through the Gospel according to St. Matthew in 14 sessions from 4th August to 24th November 2017.This exciting study explores the life and mis-sion of Jesus. It demonstrates how the promises and prophecies of the Old Testament are fulfilled in Christ, who establishes a New Law and inaugurates the Kingdom of Heaven on earth. Set in the rich context of Jesus' Jewish culture, this study will help us to under-stand who Jesus is and what his life and teachings mean for us today.

Today’s parables highlight the kingdom of heaven as the only thing worth possessing and open for us the choice to take it or not. It is open to everyone, and we must follow Jesus or we will not make it. Like Solomon, we need discerning judgment of what is good and evil. God will grant this gift if we ask for it so that we may follow the way of the Lord. God’s entire storeroom holds treasures to help us. Do you seek and use them?
