    SECTION B (b)

    1) I would choose to go to Langkawi Island because I have never been to this enchanted

island before, so this will be my best opportunity to see that beautiful and the national

heritage of the island. I could have the chance to see the biggest arch of an eagle and the

legendary tomb of Mahsuri too. The 3 days and 2 nights will be enough for me to go round

this island. The 4-star hotel is just perfect for my family with breakfast provided, so there

is no need for us to out and find place for breakfast. The price is also reasonable and

affordable and my family has no worry about that although it is a bit high compare to the

other two places. My family like snorkelling and scuba diving, so this place would be

perfect for them to do the activities. I cannot wait to go to this place for my perfect

    holiday.

    2) I would choose to go to National Park because I want to see the majestic view of Mount

Kinabalu and feel the cool and fresh air at the park. I have never been to rafting before, so

this will be my first great experience in rafting and feel the thrill during the ride. Besides

that, going by boat would add more to my great experience as I have never been to a boat

ride too. The 4 days and 3 nights will be enough for my family and I to have wonderful

stay at the chalet all meals are provided, so there is no need for us to cook our meal.

Moreover, the price for the package is the lowest of the three and it is reasonable. Other

than that, I could get the chance to see the rafflesia, the biggest flower in the world, during

our jungle trekking and have my photo taken with it. I am hoping to have great time at this

place during the holiday and I am looking forward to it.

    3) I would choose to go to Genting Highlands because I have never been to this place before

and it has been my dream to go there and see the loads of thrilling adventures. The outdoor

theme park rides sound interesting and I dream of the cool mountain air that makes it anexhilarating experience that I would really like to feel during the rides. The rides like the

dare-devil rides and games like get thrown in the air, makes Malaysia the first in the world

to have the indoor theme park. Although the package only offer 2 days and 1 night but it is

enough for us and we could go there during the weekends. I have never ridden in a coach

before, so going there by coach would be my first ride and have the chance to stay in a 5-

star hotel. The price is reasonable and affordable too and dinner is also provided. For

breakfast and lunch, we could get at any of the restaurant nearby. I hope I will have great

time at this place with my family during this forthcoming holiday.

Walter is twelve years old and likes to help other people. He is kind and responsible boy. He

lives with his parents and always listens to his parents advices. Last Saturday night, his

parents went out to their friends gathering so he was left alone at home. He did not go along

with his parents because he was having some English homework to do, given by his teacher.

After doing his part of his homework, Walter felt tired and decided to relax for a

while before continuing to the next topic, so he watched a programme at the television. While

he was watching his favourite programme, suddenly he heard a loud crash from outside the

house. He became scared as he was alone at home.

Creeping slowly to the window, he looked outside the window and saw someone

breaking into his neighbours window. His neighbours were not at home as they went for a

holiday abroad. Without a moment to lose, he quickly called the police station with the house

telephone and reported the thief to the police in charge. A later while later, a police car came

and waited for the thief to come out of the house. As the thief began climbing down from the

window, the police switched on the siren from the car. The thief was surprised and started to

run but was caught and handcuffed quickly by the policeman and was put inside the car to be

brought to the police station. The policeman thanked Walter for his bravery and honesty as

well as his help in catching the thief.

Walter was glad to have helped the policeman to save his neighbours belongings

from being taken by the thief. Later that night when his parents came home, he told them of

the incident. They praised Walter for his deeds and bravery in taking the quick action by

telephoning and informing about the thief to the police station.

    SECTION B (b)

    1) I would choose the guitar because I like playing guitar and I want to learn

more about the skills of playing the guitar. Moreover, I have a guitar of my

own at home to play with. The venue is just a few blocks from where I stay

and the time is just perfect as I have free time in the evening. Most of the

songs that I like are really popular nowadays and I want to sing while playing

with the guitar skilfully. The teacher is professional in playing the guitar

with popular songs, so I think I can learn from him at the music school and

continue practising at home with my own guitar. The fee is reasonable and I

can use my pocket money to pay for it every month. I hope I can learn the

skills of playing with the guitar so that I can show my hidden talent to my

    friends and teachers at school.

    2) I would choose the violin because I have never played it before and I want

to learn how to play it. I have my free time in the evening at every

Thursday, so I can go to the music academy which is nearer to my home to

have my music lesson. I dont mind with the high fee because I could ask the

money from my father. Moreover, my father had promised to buy a violin for

me, so I could still have the time to learn how to play it before my father

buys me the violin then I could show to him my talent. Furthermore, the

teacher is a qualified one and I could learn the classical music as classical

music is my favourite. In addition, I would like to perform my talent during

the end year prize giving ceremony and I want to surprise to all my teachers

    of my hidden talent.

    3) I would choose the keyboard because there is a keyboard at home and I

really want to play it professionally. This will be my opportunity to learn the

keyboard, so that I could show to my cousin that I could also play the

keyboard skilfully as her. Saturday is my free time and I can walk to the

music academy as it is only a few stones from my house. The fee is also

reasonable and affordable as it is only RM70.00 per month. Furthermore,

the instructor is a qualified teacher, so I am sure she has great talent and

skills regarding with keyboard and I am looking forward to start my lesson

of keyboard. I like popular and classical songs, so it will be my best chance

to learn all the skills of how to play the keyboard so that I could sing while

    playing the keyboard.

    SECTION C

Egberth is twelve years old and lives in Kampung Limbahau Papar. He is an

obedient and careful boy and always listens to his parents. He also likes to help

other people and very polite to elders. Last Sunday, Egberths mother asked him

to go to the grocery shop nearby his house to buy some sugar. He walked to the

shop as it was just a few blocks from his house. Reaching the shop, he bought a

packet of sugar and returned home a few minutes later.

As he was walking home slowly by the side of the road, he saw a boy who

was cycling recklessly as he pass by him on the road. But he continued walking

but suddenly, a bicycle and knocked him from behind. It was the same boy he

had seen earlier. The boy had lost control of his bicycle while cycling, so heknocked Egberth and they both fell on the road immediately.

Egberth who was carrying the packet of sugar that he bought earlier was

thrown together with the sugar onto the ground. When he looked around him, he

saw the sugar had spilt on the ground. He then looked at the boy who had also

fallen off from his bicycle, shocked of what had happened. The boy apologized

to Egberth for what had happened. He promised to Egberth that he will never

ride recklessly again and also promised to replace the sugar that had spilt onthe ground.

Egberth advised the boy not to play the bicycle on the road again because

it was dangerous and one might get hurt if one had an accident like the one that

had just happened. The boy thanked to Egberth and went to the shop to buy the

packet of sugar and gave it to Egberth and he walked home limply with the

bicycle because he had hurt his leg.
