The YWCA is where women turn to join a dynamic community united by a passion for positive

social change, racial justice and economic empowerment.

We work to influence public policies on behalf of women and people of color.

We speak out on behalf of women and girls and what they face today: racial, ethnic and

gender disparities; domestic violence and sexual assault; a lack of affordable childcare and

after-school programs; the urgency for job training in a struggling economy; the shortage of

transitional and low-cost housing; and the high cost of healthcare.

Mission Statement

YWCA Hamilton, Ohio, is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice,

freedom and dignity for all.

Vision Statement

The YWCA, Hamilton, Ohio, is a thriving and innovative century-old organization and the recognized leader in

Butler County for eliminating racism and empowering women with programs that heal individuals and enhance

community life.

The YWCA has experience tremendous growth and success in the past year.

But as we look at all of the events and work that has been completed by the

Board, staff, and volunteers, it is evident that is directly attributed to the

strong connections that have been developed within our community. Our

community partners, colleagues, funders and supporters help to fuel the

passion in our work, to facilitate our growth and to meet the needs of our

ever-changing community.

For over 100 years, the YWCA Hamilton has served Butler County and played

a significant role in the lives of women, children, youth and families. Our

services continue to reflect the needs of the community. The Board, staff

and volunteers continue to bless the organization with their skills,

knowledge and expertise. Serving thousands each year, the YWCA Hamilton

is committed to continuous quality improvement, innovation in programming

and flexibility in serving the entire Butler County community.

As a Board and staff, we recognize that there is still much work to be

accomplished, and we are ready, willing and able to accept the challenge to

create positive changes and to empower those in need. Thank you to our

supporters, volunteers, donors, funders, staff, Board, partners and

colleagues-you champion for change and save lives-we could not do it

without you!

Sincerely,
