Our MISSIONThe objective of our association is to spread and defend the rights of excluded people who face discrimination due to poverty, age, gender, color, language or culture. Our methods include implementing politically effective actions, services and other necessary means. Our work stands for gender equality and that the marginalized people themselves recognize their rights and strive to realize them through strategies which express their empowerment and that develop through their active participation. These efforts rely on the support of the State and the civil society working as an allied front.
Our VISION Our vision is a country, where the exercise of the given rights is a reality for all, and where the State and the institutions of the civil society responsible for monitoring the fulfillment of these rights, promote them as well as resolve any violation of these rights promptly, justly and effectively.
Our GENERAL OBJECTIVEEncourage people, excluded on the grounds of poverty, gender, age, color, language or culture, to recognize their own rights. Excluded people are also encouraged to, as an expression of their empowerment, demand the implementation of their economic, social, cultural, environmental and other rights, with the support of the allied state and civil society.
Our SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
•Defend, with the participation of the people concerned, the rights of all persons over the legal age-limit to work in domestic services, as well as prevent minors, under the legal age permitted for domestic workers in Peru, to enter this profession. The work is carried out without neglecting the needs of other excluded people•Encourage the state and the civil society to convert into allies to attain the inclusion of those who are marginalized for their poverty, gender, age, color, language or culture, in order to carry into effect all of their rights.•Develop a model for a working methodology to spread and defend all the rights of those excluded because of their poverty, gender, age, color, language, culture or due to other forms of discrimination.

AGTR has reinforzed its institutional position and image during 2010 setting itself up to one of the principal representatives of domestic labour in the media.
AGTR consider that taking advantage of the new information and communication technology (ICT) is a fundamental aspect conserning its development and which has already improved its working tools as home pages, blog, facebook reaching a considerable audience in the social network.
In addition, one of the most significant part of our work is the investigation of the reality of the domestic labour in Peru. The up-to-date knowledge helps us to applicate sophisticated proposals to improve the quality of life of those who are practising the profession of domestic worker.
