Annual Report 2015-164

It’s a matter of profound satisfaction for us all that that Yi Bhubaneswar Chapter has set a momentum and growing from strength to strength. Since its inception Yi Bhubaneswar Chapter has taken a range of initiatives in areas such as Learning, Youth Affairs, Healthcare, Startup Entrepreneurs and Membership.

Fulfillment of our vision lies in the hands of Young Indians. Many of them are talented, educated ambitious, and ready to make it big. All they need is an opportunity. It is our duty to create opportunities for them. Or else, it will be a colossal waste of human resources.

I am proud to say that Yi Bhubaneswar Chapter is committed to channelizing the power of youths of Bhubaneswar in a direction which will go a long way in helping the State excel across domains.

I would like to compliment the efforts of the Yi Bhubaneswar Team for its persistent efforts to make Yi known to industries, the Government and the Media in Bhubaneswar. The way Yi Bhubaneswar has grown in size and quality deserves a special mention.

Annual Report 2015-16 5

It was an extremely busy, fruitful and momentous 2015-16, which brought along enriching experiences and new associations and friendships for me. When I took over as the Chapter Chair a year ago, the goal was to make a mark and inculcate innovative activities through actions, methods and approach. We included many dynamic young members in the last year. These ‘young Indians’ along with the ‘senior Indians’ have brought about a fine blend of experience and enthusiasm in Yi.

Yi Bhubaneswar has grown in the past one year through good additions to member count and a significant increase in the number of activities conducted. Yi hosted and organised national-level events, Session with Mumbai Dabbawals, an interactive session with Mr Srijan Pal Singh, PS to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, INNOVEX – To encourage start-ups, Yi Health Camp, different awareness sessions, Sports & Cultural events etc. Further, unique scalable drives at the chapter-level were started through signing MoU with different institutes under Yuva Chaupal.

I would like to profusely thank my co-chair and executive team for all their support and extend my heartiest congratulations to all the Yi Members in Bhubaneswar for their continuous involvement.

Friends, so much has been done and much more is to be achieved in future. I am sure, with a continued passion for work, confidence in abilities and faith in opportunities, we will meet our goals and realize our dreams. We Can We Will.

Best Regards

Annual Report 2015-166

Having joined Yi in 2015, I have seen the organisation grow from strength to strength. Today we are into various initiatives across verticals empowering the youth.

In the past one year, under Vineet’s Chairmanship, who is possibly the most passionate Yi member I have met, Bhubaneswar Chapter has performed admirably well.

With the advent of technology, today’s youth is smarter than before, entrepreneurship, is the big buzz word, hence skilling & personality development becomes a necessity to develop, in which Yi Nationally has kept pace with the launch of YUVA and here we carried forward this initiative through signing MoU with new Chaupals.

We have seen a much closer integration with CII, all of this has been possible due to the continuous support of the secretariat, diligently working behind the scenes.

I must mention the passion and quality with the EC has performed throughout the year. It is heartening to see many of them continue for the coming year. This gives a further impetus and continuity to our programmes.

I will also take this platform to thank the members for their support. I urge them to devote a few hours in a month for Yi activities because I firmly believe that they are ones who really deliver towards Nation Building!

Looking forward to your continuous support.

Best Regards
