Dear Colleague and SAM Member:

For the 1993 Scientific Program, we will have two

avenues for presentation: (1) ten-minute paper pre- sentations; and (2) poster presentations. Abstracts will be reviewed anonymously by a panel of Ph.D.‘s and M.D.‘s. Research abstracts may vary widely to include any area of adolescent investiga- tion and may be presented as plenary presentations or posters. However, the paper itself cannot have been presented at a national meeting or have ap- peared as a publication prior to our March meeting.

Abstracts must conform to the format described under Abstract Information. A single study should be presented in one abstract (unless the data is mas- sive and of great importance). In previous years, re- viewers have rejected good studies split into 2-3 abstracts. Resubmission will not be allowed to keep publisher deadlines.
