Foster’s Home Workday – Tuesday,

November 12 – Meet at the church building

at 8:15am, travel to Foster’s Home and

work for the houseparents cooking, etc.

Bring a sack lunch. The van will return

around 2:30pm. If you plan to go help this

month, call Barbara Tennison (254-744-

4919) or Ruthie Hudson (817-326-3189).

Wednesday Night Diner – 5:00-

6:15pm, in the Fellowship Center. This

week’s menu includes C&J Brisket

Sandwich, Chips, Salad Bar, Cookie and

Drink for $5. Chicken nuggets are also

available for $1.

Calling All Singers! Everyone is invit-

ed to PsalmFest for an evening of congrega-

tional a cappella singing, featuring songs

from Timeless: Ancient Psalms for the

Church Today on Saturday, November 16,

5:30pm, at the Langdon Center Concert

Holiday Poinsettias – If you would like

to donate to our poinsettia display in the

Worship Center through the Christmas Eve

Candlelight Service, please give your $10

donation to John or Janna Duty or bring it to

the church office by November 20.

Carter BloodCare will be receiving

donors in the Fellowship Center on Sunday,

November 24, from 8:30am -12:30pm.

Area-Wide Thanksgiving Service –

Tuesday, November 26, at Southside

Church of Christ in Mineral Wells. Singing

will begin at 6:30pm, followed by the

service at 7:00pm with Larry Roberts of

Eastland Church of Christ, speaking on The

REAL First Thanksgiving. Light refresh-

ments will be served during the fellowship

time afterward.

Save the Date! Thursday, December

5, will be our annual all-church ladies’

Christmas party. More details to come.

Prayer Warriors – Join Prayer

Warriors to make meaningful connections

with our teens and help them grow in their

faith. You will be paired with a student and

asked to pray for and send encouraging

notes to that student throughout the school

year. To sign up, pick up a form at one of

the information tables, fill it out, and turn it

in to Scotty or Melinda Weaver.

Children’s Ministry Help Needed! The Children’s Ministry

is seeking new teachers and support helpers

for the winter quarter, beginning November
