are Monday evenings and Tuesday mornings. Please prayerfully consider helping out as a conversation partner or as a teacher. Please contact us at [email protected] if you can help or have questions. THIS SUNDAY IS MITE BOX SUNDAY — You see it on the calendar and you may even notice the BIG purple box on the table in the narthex, but what is it? The first Sunday of each month has been designated as Mite Box Sunday here at Epiphany. It allows everyone in the congregation to donate whatever they can, a little or a lot, to help support various LWML mission projects. These collected funds are then sent for mission projects and programs. The LWML has found that even small amounts can add up rapidly when large numbers of people are giving. The widow in Mark 12:41-43 received praise even though she only gave two mites. Won’t you help too? NEW MEMBER CLASS BEGINS NEXT SUNDAY — The 101 Class: "Discovering the Lutheran Faith" also known as the New Member Class is taught by the pastors and is for those who are interested in learning more about the Lutheran Church, Epiphany in particular. It is required for those desiring membership at Epiphany. It is held on Sunday morning at 9:15 a.m. in room 202 of the AFLC. The next class begins next Sunday, September 8!
