ANNOUNCEMENTS Today is the last day for high school seniors and current college undergraduates to apply for the Don Forester Scholarship. Applications are available on the Westwood website and in the church office. Three $1,000 scholarships will be awarded in June. Contact Scholarship Committee Chair Eddie Maguire for more information. 2016 Graduates and Parents—Please send information on your graduates to [email protected] by Friday, May 20. We will recognize graduates June 12, and we will include their names in the June Westwood World. Next Sunday, May 22 we will have a Reception for Andre and Shondelyn Towner from 9:15-10 a.m. in the narthex, and we will recognize and celebrate Andre’s ministry in worship. Love offering envelopes are available in the pews and at the Welcome Center. The quarterly Church Conference will be held next Sunday, May 22 at 7 p.m. in the Music Suite. Our Fifth Sunday Mission Project this month actually will be on Saturday, May 28. We will gather with other volunteers at Quantico National Cemetery to help prepare for Memorial Day celebrations, cleaning trails and helping place flags. Sign up in the narthex to participate in this special project. The United States Navy Band will hold a concert of chamber music for wind instruments and voice at Westwood on Saturday, June 4 at 3 p.m. The program will feature the music of Schubert, Handel, Rachmaninoff, and more. Invite your friends and neighbors to this family-friendly community event. Westwood will hold its first Ministry Fair on Sunday, June 5 at 9:45 a.m. in Whitten Hall. Learn about the ministry groups of our church and the many ministries we participate in. Talk to representatives from groups and find out how your ministry fits in with the rest of the church, or discover a new ministry for you. Impact Training is scheduled for three Sundays, June 5, 12, and 26 at 4:30 p.m. Sessions are mandatory for all students travelling to Wise for Impact 2016. Excused absences must be arranged in advance with Tom Kern. Join the gang on Friday, June 10 for Westwood Night at the Nationals. ANNOUNCEMENTS

Today is the last day for high school seniors and current college undergraduates to

apply for the Don Forester Scholarship. Applications are available on the

Westwood website and in the church office. Three $1,000 scholarships will be

awarded in June. Contact Scholarship Committee Chair Eddie Maguire for more

information.

2016 Graduates and Parents—Please send information on your graduates to

Next Sunday, May 22 we will have a Reception for Andre and Shondelyn

Towner from 9:15-10 a.m. in the narthex, and we will recognize and celebrate
