~~April NEWSLETTER~~The April newsletter is available online at www.lfumcwaukegan.org, and in printed form right outside the sanctuary in the narthex. Deadline for May submissions is Monday, April 25th.

COOL Food PantryFor the month of April we are collecting Juice or Powdered Milk for the Cool Food Pantry. If you would like to get a head start collecting for May, we will be collecting Canned Fruit. If you would like to make a monetary donation, you can put your check in the offering plate on Sunday with “Cool Food Pantry” in the memo field.

Choir RehearsalRemember, the church choir needs YOU! Come on Thursdays at 7 pm and be part of this church ministry. Lend us your voices and serve God with your musical abilities. Instrumentalists are also welcome. There will be no choir rehearsal March 31st, however.

Sign Up for Fellowship – Fellowship time is a special time, but we need volunteers to make it happen. Sign up on the sheet downstairs on the Fellowship Hall bulletin board. We especially need volunteers for clean-up at this time.

Adult Bible StudyEvangelism has become a virtual four-letter word in some circles. Sharing one’s faith can be intimidating; and Christians through the ages have disagreed on what evangelism means. But at its most basic level, it’s simply sharing the good news that the Son of God became human and died for the sins of humanity. Sharing the Gospel will help you discover how to share your faith in a way that works for you. Books are available in the narthex for $7. This study begins April 6th, with study times on Wednesdays at 10 am and 6 pm.
