Restraining Act, the Customs Service Reorganization, and the Townshend Duty Act. It

Patrick, John J.. Rights and Revolution in America . Oxford University Press, 2003. eLibrary .
Web. 06 May. 2012.
A book about the journey that Americans took to become an independent nation, Rights
and Revolution in America is helpful to me because it is a book source, which means it is
written by a person who has very little reason to distort.
Grahame, James. "American Colonies Oppose The Stamp Act: By James Grahame." History of the World . Bureau of Electronic Publishing, 1992. n.pag. eLibrary . Web. 06 May. 2012.
A sc holarly article by James Grahame, American Colonies Oppose the Stamp Act is
helpful to me because it helps me understand why the colonists got so angry that the
Stamp Act was being imposed on them. Also, it is written by a reliable source that has
very little reason to distort.
Sugar Act and Stamp Act: Detailed Overview . eLibrary . Web. 06 May. 2012.
The degree of detail on this source is helpful to me because it helps me further understand
the Sugar Act and the Stamp Act. However, it is not a scholarly journal nor a book, so it
may be less reliable than some of my more helpful sources.
"The Quartering Act." Britannica Annals of American History, v 3.0 . 2009. eLibrary . Web. 06

Most of my sources had been regarding the Stamp Act and the Sugar Act, so I was
lacking in information about the Quartering Act. This article was helpful to me because it
focused specifically on that topic.
