We invite you to experience the exceptional concerts and events of the Newport Music Festival’s 50th Anniversary Season from July 4-22, 2018. As we honor the legacy of the past while looking to the future, you will enjoy more than 40 performances by beloved Festival artists, Grammy winners, classical music legends, and upcoming international stars. Some of this season’s artists include Mezzo Soprano and Grammy winner, Frederica von Stade; violin virtuoso and Grammy winner, Joshua Bell; Grammy-nominated woodwind ensemble, Imani Winds; 2017 Van Cliburn Piano Competition Gold Medalist, Yekwon Sunwoo; and piano genius and Avery Fisher Grant winner, Charlie Albright.
As with most performing arts organizations, Newport Music Festival ticket revenue covers less than 30% of operating costs. THANK YOU to the foundations, companies, and music lovers for their invaluable and generous support of the Festival’s mission to inspire memorable life experiences through world-class artistry in unique, intimate, and historic venues.
Let the Golden Anniversary celebrations begin! We look forward to seeing you this summer,
Pamela A. Pantos, Executive Director
