Anna Ciddor Book Launch:The Boy Who Stepped Through TimeCelebrate the launch of Anna Ciddor’s new book The Boy Who Stepped Through Time these holidays! When Perry is forced by his mum to attend an ‘authentic’ Roman festival while on holiday in France, he steps into a crumbling ruin and gets instantly transported 1700 years back to the Roman Empire. Unfortunately, the Romans take him for a slave boy! Join Anna for an entertaining look at the secrets behind the story, learn writing tips and discover some fascinating and gritty details of Roman life. Copies of the book will be available to purchase on the day. Ages 8-13
Ginnie and Pinney Book Launch:Ginnie and Pinney Learn and Grow is an engaging series of picture books and education support materials for young children in both English and Mandarin Chinese. The books encourage ethical thinking, empathy and emotional intelligence. Based on the Early Years Learning Framework and selected for School Readiness Funding Menu for 2020 Ginnie and Pinney promote deep thinking about social and emotional themes, encouraging young people to think about their impact on each other and the world around them. Ages 4+
Make Your Own Musical InstrumentsCome along and make your own DIY musical instruments. You’ll have fun decorating and making your instruments and playing tunes. All materials supplied. Ages 4-10.
Mini MaestrosCome along and join in the musical fun! There’ll be rhymes and singing, playing percussion instruments, dancing and movement, and puppets! Two sessions for two age groups: 6-24mths and 2-5yrs.

EV3: Join Robogals for this exciting engineering workshop! Participants will attempt multiple programming challenges that proceed with increasing levels of dif�culty using LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robots. Ages 10+
Rhythm for ResilienceIn this inspiring workshop Lamine will teach African music and drumming patterns and share his stories with their important messages of belonging, sharing and working together. Ages 8-12.
SpeedcubingHave you always wanted to solve a Rubik's Cube but thought it was too hard? Well, it’s actually not that hard and Kerrie and Myles Jarman are here to show you the steps you need to learn! Once you master these simple techniques you will be able to solve the puzzle every single time. Participants will each receive a 3x3x3 speedcube. Ages 7-16
