    PREFACE

Theory without practice has no fruit

Practice without theory has no root.

As the student of Masters of Business Administration, I am imparted with all the minute things

in the books about managing a business and about administrating an organization, but it is the

happening what matters in this world and so the foreseers of MBA degree course have

recommended practical study based on research. This is with a view to strike a balance between

the theory that is taught at the classroom of a college and its application in the real life. Such

practical exposure widens ones vision and views and gifts another eye to see beyond what is

seen through an eye of theory.

The importance of practical exposures cant be neglected. The objective of practical exposure is

to familiarize the future with the weaving waters of industry. The practical aspect is very

essential not only to enhance the theoretical concepts but also to know the practical problem

    and their remedies.

This report deals with banks activities related to loans. It includes lending procedure, available

schemes of loans in bank, criteria for loan sanction, recovery procedure etc.

Subject matter of this report has been elaborated with simple words and lucid. Tables, charts, figure have been given to facilitate under- standing.
