When Amphibians are young, they live underwater with gills.
When Amphibians mature, they develop lungs and can live in or out of water.
Amphibians do not have hair.
Amphibians have moist smooth skin.
Amphibians metamorphoses or change rapidly from one stage to another.
For example, a frog metamorphoses from a tadpole into a frog.
