Animal Welfare
By: Ashley Ripplinger & Jeweliana Russell
Almost all of us grew up eating meat, going to circuses, zoos and wearing leather. We really never thought that what we were doing had such a bad impact on animals.
Animals have always been companions for humans but ever since the 19th century animals have been harmed, tested on and abused. Laws have been passed but no one is paying attention. THIS NEEDS TO STOP!
Monkeys and apes
Over 61,000
Are experimented on for Alzheimer's, AIDS, and much more
This is not right!
12-15 million rats and mice
Are tested for cancer research and drug testing.
Over 54,000 cats are used for vision research
Animals like rabbits, get tested on these things, Toxicity of cosmetics, Toiletries, Fragrances, Household products and much more
If we stop eating at McDonalds and stop wearing leather,
We would save thousands of cows from being killed each year.
By 2005
1,177,567 animals were used in reach that’s over 1 million
People think that if you put make up on an animal it not animal abuse,
But if you really think about it actually it is, because there could be harmful toxins in the product that harm the animal
A very popular farm in Clinton County New York abused there cows with poles and canes, they also electro shocked them in their faces. This is wrong and it is still going on right now!
Tigers like these are endangered because of hunters hunting them for their skin
Help give him a loving home
Help save these animals!
How we can stop animal cruelty
By standing up for what you believe in
You can accomplish anything like going
against animal abuse
DO NOT WEAR ANIMAL SKINS ADOPT DON’T BUY, ELIMINATE ANIMAL ENTERTAINMENT SUCH
AS ZOOS, CIRCUSES, AND HORSE RACING
You can also practice
vegetarianism and find substitutes for
animal research
