animal love
TRANSCRIPT
When Valentine’s Day arrives we all
think of human love. Will and Guy
wonder if love exists in the
animal kingdom. We have some rather beautiful photographs to
share with you to help you make up your own minds
Give us a kiss
Once they mate, swans remain together for life. Both partners share in building their nest,
defending and incubating their eggs and caring for their young.

Love between mother and baby
Flamingos creating a heart shape
Give us a cuddle
Snuggling up is a good way to keep warm
I always love being with you
Fancy meeting you here: you look like my mirror image
You are my sunshine, even in the snow
Please be my friend?
In their natural habitat seahorses make partnerships which last until one dies. In seahorses, pregnancy happens to the
male animals
Come a little closer
I’m so glad we decided to have a family. Will Junior’s trunk reach the water?
I’ll do the hunting tonight, my dear, you have a rest
I miss you so much when you go away
..and perhaps we’ll stay out very late
Do you know, you’re the loveliest looking Llama in the world?
You can go on the exercise wheel first tonight, my beloved
I like meeting you here, in the garden
............and then what did she say?
Come with me. I know where there’s some tasty scraps
I love you too
It’s lovely in here, why don’t you join me?
Now, where shall we go today, my dearest?
This sea lion has obviously got a soft spot for his keeper.
Give us a kiss
Here we have an African lion bonding with the lady who saved his life. He
obviously recognises her and gives her a
hug, a kiss and a cuddle. She had
rescued him when malnourished and
had spent many days with him improving
his health
